#### What is a Tag Manager ? <a href="#what-is-a-tag-manager" id="what-is-a-tag-manager"></a>

Tag Manager is a tool to analyse the profit and loss of your trades. Tag manager comes with preset tag fields like Market Trend, Mental Status, Outcome, etc. Each of the tag fields will have subcategories too. Enable any field, and you can name your trades according to the categories provided in the enabled field.

For example, if you have executed a trade based on some research report, then you can mark the trade under this category. Thereby making your analysis easy.

#### How to Enable Tag Category ? <a href="#how-to-enable-tag-category" id="how-to-enable-tag-category"></a>

* Go to '**My Accounts**.'
* Find '**Tag Manager**' and **click on** it.
* Click on the **toggle button to enable/disable** the preferred tag category.

#### How to Create a New Tag Category ? <a href="#how-to-create-a-new-tag-category" id="how-to-create-a-new-tag-category"></a>

* Go to '**My Accounts**.'
* Find '**Tag Manager**' and **click on** it.
* Tap on '**Create New Category.'**
* **Enter** **the category** **name** and click on **Save**.
* **Add tags** to your newly created category by clicking on '**Add Tag**.'
* Enter a desired name.
* Click on 'Create.'
* Likewise, create any number of tags, and once you are done, **switch on the toggle button** to make that **category active**.
* These tags are used to mark in the '[***Journal***](https://usermanuals.geojit.com/mygeojit-web/reports/p-and-l#how-do-i-categorize-trades-in-the-journal)' and analyze your [P\&L](https://usermanuals.geojit.com/mygeojit-web/reports/p-and-l) as per these tags.
