#### How do I access research data? <a href="#how-do-i-access-research-data" id="how-do-i-access-research-data"></a>

* Find '**Ideas'** tab
* You will be provided with a list of options.
* Select '**Research Desk**'.
* You can see research data on **mutual funds**, **technical & derivatives**, and **commodity reports**.

**- Mutual Funds -** Mutual fund recommendation with factsheet. #### How do I view scrips that are available for Intraday/BTST/MTF ?  <a href="#how-do-i-view-scrips-that-are-available-for-intraday-btst-mtf" id="how-do-i-view-scrips-that-are-available-for-intraday-btst-mtf"></a>

* Find '**Ideas'** tab
* You will be provided with a list of options.
* Select '**Scrips**.**'**
* You can see different categories like intraday, BTST, MTF,  and pledge margin.
* **Click on your preferred category** and set the parameters: **segment, exchange, margin range percentage** and **symbol**
* **Click on the 'Submit**' button.
* The result will be displayed as per your preference.

#### How can I access the list of illiquid/penny scrips ? <a href="#how-can-i-access-the-list-of-illiquid-penny-scrips" id="how-can-i-access-the-list-of-illiquid-penny-scrips"></a>

* Find '**Ideas'** tab
* You will be provided with a list of options.
* Select '**Scrips**.**'**
* You will land on the '**Intraday'** page by default.
* Find the **illiquid /penny scrips** tab and click on it.
* Here, choose the scrip type- **illiquid** or **penny**.
* once done, click on the **search button**.
* The list of illiquid / penny scrips will be displayed.
* If you want to **search for a specific scrip** from the displayed list, then you can enter the symbol name on the search bar and click on the 'search' button.

#### How can I access the list of illiquid F\&O contracts ? <a href="#how-can-i-access-the-list-of-illiquid-f-and-o-contracts" id="how-can-i-access-the-list-of-illiquid-f-and-o-contracts"></a>

* Find '**Ideas'** tab
* You will be provided with a list of options.
* Select '**Scrips**.**'**
* You will land on the '**Intraday'** page by default.
* Find the **illiquid F\&O contracts** tab and click on it.
* Here, choose the exchange and the instrument type.
* Once done, click on the **search button**.
* The list of illiquid F\&O contracts will be displayed.
* Details like, symbol, expiry date, strike price and contract type will be displayed.
* If you want to **search for a specific scrip** from the displayed list, then you can enter the symbol name on the search bar and click on the 'search' button.

#### How do I view cash equivalent scrips/non-cash equivalent scrips ? <a href="#how-do-i-view-cash-equivalent-scrips-non-cash-equivalent-scrips" id="how-do-i-view-cash-equivalent-scrips-non-cash-equivalent-scrips"></a>

For the purpose of trading margins, the exchange defines certain securities that can be considered as [**cash-equivalent** ](https://support.geojit.com/support/solutions/articles/89000007489-what-securities-are-considered-as-cash-equivalent-for-margins-)**scrips** and **non-cash equivalents.**

**Cash equivalent** securities include l**iquid funds, SGBs, selected bonds**, etc., which must be pledged to get margins.

**Non-cash equivalents** are assets other than cash that can be used to meet margin requirements. These assets, like **stocks, mutual funds, or ETFs**, are pledged as collateral, and their value is used to cover part of the required margin.

To know cash equivalent scrips/non-cash equivalent scrips:

* Find '**Ideas'** tab
* You will be provided with a list of options.
* Select '**Scrips**.**'**
* Select '**Pledge Margin'.**
* Select Collateral, choose between **cash equivalent scrips/non-cash equivalents.**
* **Click Submit,** and your preferred results will be displayed accordingly.
* You can also search for scrips from the given list using the search 🔍bar.

#### How do I know about upcoming trading events ? <a href="#how-do-i-know-about-upcoming-trading-events" id="how-do-i-know-about-upcoming-trading-events"></a>

Know the upcoming trading events/corporate actions like dividends, stock splits, and buybacks using this feature.
