How to apply for loan against mutual funds ?
What are the different types of Mutual Funds?
Mutual funds are the simple, convenient, and diversified way to build wealth. They are broadly classified into equity, hybrid, debt funds, and others.
Equity
Under the equity section comes a wide range of funds categorized according to:
Market capitalization — Large Cap, Mid Cap, Small Cap, and Large & Mid Cap.
Diversification and Flexibility — Focused Fund, Multi Cap and Flexi Cap.
Investment Style — Value and Dividend Yield.
Thematic and Sectoral Funds.

Hybrid
The funds are categorized according to:
Asset Allocation.
Allocation Based on Risk Tolerance.

Debt
Debt funds are classified into:
Duration-based funds.
Credit quality-based funds.

This section holds funds like:
Fund of Funds.

Invest in a newly launched mutual fund scheme for an initial subscription.
How to View Funds List
In the Dashboard page, scroll down and spot the "Explore All Mutual Funds" section.
Tap on "View All."
Select your preferred type — hybrid / Equity / Debt / Others.
You will be navigated to a page holding a list of funds of that particular type.
On the top portion, you can set the investment mode— one-time/SIP, the amount you wish to invest, and the duration.
Once you are done with setting these parameters, the list will be rearranged automatically, with the highest-rated funds displayed at the top.
Each mutual fund card contains details like fund name, market capitalization, Geojit rating, Morningstar rating, current value, minimum SIP amount required, and return percentage for the duration you have selected.
Scroll down and analyze the funds.
To invest, tap the "Invest Now" button beside each fund.
How to Sort / Apply Filter
You can apply a filter to this list of mutual funds by:


Click the filter icon situated at the bottom right corner.
You will be navigated to the filter page.
Filter the funds list according to your desired rating (Geojit or Morningstar), fund plan, and AMC.
Once you are done with the filtering, tap Apply.
You can sort this list as per your preference too:


Click the filter icon at the bottom right corner to open the filter page.
Tap the "Sort" button at the top right next to the "Filter" button.
You can sort according to:
Return percentage (high to low).
Geojit rating (high to low).
Morningstar rating (high to low).
Alphabetical order (A–Z).
How to view Fund details ?
Now let's see how to access the details of various funds. For this :
Select a fund from either your watchlist/portfolio/genie recommendations or type a fund of your preference using the universal search icon.
Now tap on the fund card.
The fund details page will open up.
On the top part you can see the full name of the fund.

Right under it, you will see the market capitalization, followed by the details like NAV, 1D change and 3 year CAGR percentage.

Just below these basic data comes the rating section. Here you can see the 'Fund Rating'- the rating given by both Geojit and the Morning Star.

Next comes the scheme details - the expense ratio, exit load, AUM, lock in period, ISIN, age, benchmark and minimum investment amount needed ( both SIP & lumpsum).

Scroll down and you can see the similar funds provided by other fund houses for a better comparison. Here you can see the return percentage across different time frames.

The latest asset allocation will be displayed in a pie chart just below this section.

Scroll further down to find the snapshot of holdings data of that fund - the stock names and the respective investment percentage, arranged in the descending order.
You can click on the 'See all holdings' button to view the full list of latest asset allocation.

You can also view the holdings data 'market cap' wise. For this tap on the 'Market Cap' button right next to the holdings.
Also see the top sectors that the fund hold by clicking on the 'Top Sector' button.
Below the holdings tab lies the 'Risk O Meter', which informs you about the level of risk in the scheme.

Towards the end of the page, contact details of that fund house will be displayed.

The total number of schemes managed by the fund house will be displayed towards the left hand side.
Click on the 'See All' button and you can explore other funds of the same fund house by clicking on the

The fund details page ends with the display of total AUM of that fund house.

You can also access the watchlist page from here by tapping the banner icon at the top right corner.
How to apply for loan against mutual funds ?
On the dashboard page, scroll down to see 'Unlock instant loans against mutual fund holdings'.
Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
You will be redirected to 'Geojit Credits' page.
Complete the process.
