# Security Info

On the left-hand side, you can see the **"Symbol," and** below that, **"CMP,"** **"Change Percentage,"** and **"Last Traded Time."**
Towards the top right-hand side, there are **"Chart," "Set Alert," "Buy,"** and **"Sell" buttons.**
### How to open the Security Info Page ?
To access the **Security Info Page**, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Watchlist page and hover over the desired symbol. You can see the "Three Dot" Icon appear. Click on it. The "Select Box will be displayed. Then click on the "Security Info" and you will be redirected to the Security Page.
1. Alternatively, you can do the same by going to the Holdings or Positions page on the Portfolio. Or under Ideas, go to research page and follow the same steps as mentioned above.
### Buy/Sell From Security Info Page
To *buy/sell* from **Security Info Page**, follow these steps:
* Open the **Security Page.**
* The **"Buy/Sell" Button** can be found on the top right-hand side of the page.
* Click **"Buy/Sell" Button** to open the respective **"Order Placement" page.**
* Enter the required data in the **"Order Placement"** window and submit the order.
* You can see **52 weeks high/low** of the security towards the **end of the page**.
You can also view the **Pivot point, Support** and **Resistance** of a particular stock to identify the entry and exit points for trading and manage risk.
Just **below the Geojit Sentimeter** - where you can view the number of quantities bought and sold and also the number of quantities Geojit's client bought and sold - you can see the **Pivot Range section**.
Here you can see :
* The **Pivot Point**- The average of the previous day's high, low, and close prices.
* The Support- A price level where demand is high and the price is unlikely to fall further.
* The Resistance : A price level where supply is high and the price is unlikely to rise further
### Open Charts page from the Security Page
To *open* **Charts**, follow these steps:
* Open the **"Security Page"** of the desired **Security**.
* The **"Chart" Icon** can be found on the top right-hand side.
* Click the **"Chart" Icon** to open the respective **Chart page**.
### Set Alert from Security Page
To *set* an **Alert**, follow these steps:
* Open the "Security Page".
* Locate and Click on the **"Set Alert"** button on the top right-hand side.
* **"Create an Alert"** page will appear towards the right-hand side.
* On the **Create an Alert** page, select the **Price Alert Condition** from the **"Drop Down"** **menu**.
* This will specify the **Type of Alert** you want to set, such as **"Greater Than"** or **"Less Than."**
* Enter the **"Alert Trigger Value"** in the designated field. This is the price at which you want the Alert to be Triggered.
* Update the **"Time"** until which the alert is valid. This is the time period during which the **Alert** will be **Active** and will trigger if the *specified price* is reached.
* Click on the **"Create New Alert" Button.**
* A new **Alert** will be created and you will receive a pop-up "**Notification"** when the **Alert Price** is triggered.
