# Alerts
The **"Alerts"** feature is a tool that can be used to notify traders when the price of a particular underlying asset crosses above or below a **Trigger Price** set by you. This allows you to stay informed about **Market Conditions** and make trading decisions in a timely manner. **"Alerts"** can be set up to **"Trigger Notifications"** via **Pop-up, Email or Text Message.**
### How to open the Alert page
To *open* the **Alerts** page, follow these steps:
* Locate and click on the **"More"** **option.**
* Find the **"Alerts"** **option** and click on it to get redirected to the **Alerts page.**
* Here, you can see **"Active"** and **"Triggered Alert" option.**
* By default you will be on the **"Active Alert" page.**
* To choose between **Active** and **Triggered Alert** you can either click on it or swipe.
* At the bottom of the page and top right-hand side you can see the "**Create New Alert" Button.**
### How to create New Price Alert
You can create **"Alert"** from **Alerts** **page** and **Security page.**
#### Creating New Alert from Alert Page
To *create alert* from **Alerts page,** follow these steps:
* Open the **Flip web** and click on the **"More"** **option.**
* Locate the **"Alerts"** **option** and click on it.
* By default, "**Active Alert" page** will be open, which shows any alert you have already created.
* On the **"Active Alert Page",** click on the **"Create New Alert" button** at the bottom of the page or at the top right-hand side.
* The **"Create New Alert" page** will be open.
* On the **"Create New Alert" page,** click on the **"Symbol Name Box"** to search for the symbol you want to create an alert for.
* Type the **"Symbol Name"** in the **"Search Box"** and select the desired symbol from the list of results by clicking on it.
* The **Symbol** will be populated into the **Symbol Name** field**.**
* Select the **"Alert Condition"** from the **"Drop-down Arrow"** **Icon.**
* Enter the **"Alert Trigger Value",** which is the price at which the **Alert** will be triggered.
* Select the **"Validity Date"** for the **Alert**.
* Choose whether you want to receive the **"Alert"** as a pop-up within the platform or as an SMS.
* Click on the **"Create New Alert" button** at the bottom to create the alert.
* If you go back to the active alert page, you should see the **New Alert** listed with an **"Active" status.**
#### Create New Alert from Security page
To *create alert* from **Security page,** follow these steps:
* Open the desired **Watchlist** from **"My Watchlist"** and hover over the desired **Symbol**.
* You can see the **"Three Dot"** **Icon** appear as you hover. Click on it.
* A **"Select Box"** will be displayed. Then click on the **"Security Info"** and you will be redirected to the **Security Page.**
* Locate and click on the **"Alert"** **Icon** on the top right-hand side. The **"Create New Alert"** page will open.
* The **Symbol** **Name** will be filled automatically.
* Choose the remaining options according to your wish.
* Click on the **"Create New Alert" button** at the bottom of the page.
* If you go back to the **Active Alert page**, you should see the **New Alert** listed with an **"Active Status".**
### How to Delete an Active Alert
To *delete* an **active alert,** follow these steps:
* Navigate to the **"Alerts"** **page**, which can be found in the **"More"** **section.**
* This will open the page with a list of your **"Active Alerts".**
* Find the **"Alert"** that you want to **Delete** and hover over it.
* You can see the **"Three Dot"** **Icon** appear. Then click on it.
* Click on the **"Delete Alert"** option. A confirmation pop-up will appear.
* Click on **"Yes" Button** to confirm that you want to **Delete** the **"Alert".**
* After the deletion process is complete, the **Alert** will no longer be visible on the **"Active Alert" page.**
### How to Modify an Active Alert
To *modify* an **Alert**, follow these steps:
* Navigate to the **"Alerts"** **page**, which can be found in the **"More"** **section.**
* This will open the page with a list of **"Active Alerts".**
* Find the **"Alert"** that you want to **"Modify"** and hover over it.
* You can see the **"Three Dot"** **Icon** appear. Then click on it.
* Click on the **"Modify Alert" option.**
* The **Modify Alert** will appear, offering you the options to **"Modify Alert".**
* Make the necessary changes to the **"Alert".**
* Click on the **"Modify Alert" button** at the bottom of the page.
* If you go back to the **"Active Alerts" page,** you should see your **Modified Alert.**
